FAQs
1. Is it free to attend? Unless otherwise noted, most of our events will be free to attend. Feel free bring your family and friends to enjoy the fun!
2. Who can attend events? Most of our events are family-friendly, so there is no age limit.
3. Who can create groups? Anyone! Click on the plus button on the top right side of your screen, and choose "Add Local Group". From there, fill in all the details and save. Once the admins will approve your group, you'll get a message as the group leader, and your group will be visible to the public. 4. Group creation is limited to group leaders that are 18 and up. Is there a limit to how many groups I can be a part of? The sky’s the limit -- join as many or as few as you would like!
5. How can I create an event? Click on the plus button on the top right side of your screen, and choose "Add event". From there, fill in all the details and save. Once the admins will approve your event, you'll get a message as the event leader, and your event will be visible to the public. 6. Is there a limit to how many events I can create? There is no limit on the amount of events an individual can create.
7. Does the City facilitate all of these events? Will there be a City representative on site at every event? Not necessarily. While city admins do carefully review and approve each event that is submitted, there will not be a City representative at the event unless it is hosted by the City of Sugar Land.
8. Who approves/denies the groups? Admins for the Sugar Land Community Hub will approve and deny groups and events.
9. You denied my group. Why? If your group/event is denied, an admin will reach out to the creator with an explanation. For more information, check out our Terms & Conditions section found below.
