Sugar Land Jazz Fest attendees will enjoy performances from six artists with serious chops. Each day of the festival will feature one headliner and two supporting acts.
The Friday headliner will be Brian Culbertson, an award-winning musician with over 40 Billboard No. 1 hits! World-renowned percussionist Sheila E. and The E-Train is also a singer, songwriter, author, and humanitarian that will grace the Jazz Fest audience with her unique style and iconic performances. Adam Hawley is a talented artist, producer and has 17 Billboard #1 hits! He's also played with notable celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Brian McKnight and appeared as part of the house band on American Idol.
Saturday's show will feature The Commodores, an American funk and soul group famously known for having Lionel Richie as their lead singer. Audiences will also be able to delight in the talent of Bob James, who Quincy Jones discovered at a jazz festival in the sixties. James's skills range as a keyboardist, arranger, and record producer. Jackiem Joyner is a contemporary saxophonist, author and music producer with various Billboard hits and a number-one jazz album. He's shared the stage with George Duke, Najee, Peter White, and more! Finally, Nicholas Cole will also be joining Jazz Fest and sharing his soulful jazz tunes on the keyboard, influenced by gospel and inspired by the music of Brian Culbertson.
